christmas music. (B101! or make a playlist, but make sure you have enough songs for a few hours)
turn off the lights but have like a zillion strands of christmas lights.
rent a projector from the local library and play a christmas movie on the wall, on mute, like the Grinch, that people would know without sounds.
get alcohol-free eggnog and serve it from a fancy punch bowl.
have everyone bring a small, under $10 gift. assign each gift a number, and have people draw numbers out of a hat to see which present they get. (at the end of the night)
have a ginger-bread-house making contest, using teams, with those cheap little DIY kits. have a bigger present for the winning team, like movie tickets or something.
bake cookies and have tons of candy canes EVERYWHERE. that people can just grab and eat, all different flavors.
good luck, merry christmas!

Does it have to be Christmas Themed? If not, buy a bunch of packages of plain white t-shirts and socks, and a tie dye kit. Have them make tie dye stuff!
Or get some of those clear glass christmas balls at the craft store and some acrylic craft paints (cheap – 49 cents – 1.00). Take the hangers off the top for now, set them aside (careful so the balls don’t break), pour 2-3 colors inside and rotate them around. They make an interesting marbly color. Drain upside down till the dripping stops. Put the tops back on and use a colorful ribbon to hang them with.
For decor, white christmas lights go a long way. Get a few rolls of white crepe paper and some white baloons to hang or put on the floor, etc. Keep it fairly simple.
Food: make a taco bar and let them put their own tacos together.? Not very christmasey but fun nevertheless.
