I think it is up to the individual person and collectively to bring about peace. I would think that true Muslims are very peaceful people and their religion teaches that. There are many other beliefs that are also peaceful it’s only the fanatics that want to take over the world and dominate people that cause problems. I am not a religious person, but most of the Muslim people I have met are law abiding and peaceful people who don’t want violence. As I said it’s always the fanatics who don’t really know their religious beliefs or those who want to misinterpret them who cause violence and bloodshed.

If you aren’t a muslim you believe that Islam was created by a sham prophet. Isn’t that your point to this question? There are Muslims who commit unspeakable crimes in the name of their Gods as others in have in their religions and/or philosophies (let us not forget Hitler, Stalin, and Mao were all atheists and they all killed plenty as well as theists have). You cannot condemn Islam anymore than you can condemn any other philosophy for living. However, that being said, many Islamic adherents have demonstrated a very dangerous attitude towards western values and that needs to be considered.

I agree that Muslims are completely out of hand. The photos provided on your link are, if I’m not mistaken, a result of the cartoon that was drawn. Can you believe they would go to such extremes over a freakin’ cartoon?! It shows me that they would have NO problems killing me if I were to break one of their RULES.

Islam has never been a religion of peace. It was born in bloodshed by their prophet Mohammed who was a general that led armies to convert infidels to Islam. How can anyone say with a straight face that Islam is a religion of peace when one of the beliefs of Islam is that anyone who dies fighting the enemies of Islam will go to heaven and get 72 virgins as companions?
Many more people have been killed in the name of Islam, than in the name of Christianity or Judism. The radical form of Islam must be fought against by the non-Muslim powers as the Islamic fanatics want to kill or convert all earth’s peoples to their blood thirsty religion.
Islamists can not live in harmony with people who have different religious beliefs. Hell, they even kill each other if they are of a different faction, Sunni or Shiite.

Islam is not a political movement nor a foundation for helping Urban people or poor guys.Islam is the most completed religion of god.Its the religion of peace and justice.Im not blaming you for thinking bad about islam because the comercial that the USA and rich non muslim countries and most of the comunicating satelites and TV channels are taking peoples mind to a Bad Islam.
Islam is the only gate for a person to God.
Read about shia in a shia publisher book.
If you read a book about shiawrotten by a non muslim writer you will see that it is mostly talking about bad things in shia .These people that are damaging their self with knifes arent shia the pure shia is in Iran.
